The Company:

Our client is a leading local firm covering the North West of England and North Wales. With over 20 years of experience they have built their reputation on always putting the client first and delivering the most effective advice. This is a great opportunity for a Secretary to join them as they go through a further period of growth.

The Position:

The Secretary position exists to maintain the smooth and efficient running of the office. This is a demanding position working in a fast pace environment which will require the successful applicant to be extremely time effective and having the ability to prioritise will be crucial. You will have proven office administration and some secreterial experience having worked in a similar role previously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls / email queries
  • Attending to visitors and showing clients to board room
  • Dealing with client queries and questions
  • Update the internal system with client notes
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Produce invoice statements
  • Audio typing & typing fee notes
  • Buying office supplies
  • Banking
  • Filing / photocopying /scanning

Requirements:

  • Previous office administration experience is essential
  • Secreterial expereince would be desirable
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and internet
  • High level of telephone and email communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Methodical and organised
  • Ability to multi task
  • A great team player
  • A desire to show initiative
